I woke up this morning to such wonderful art work prepared by Asmita (Daughter of dear friends Neeta Chavan & Navin Chavan). These art works prepared by artist Asmita put me in love with it.
My immediate question when I saw the art work was, “what is its story?”
I don’t know what Asmita had in mind whilst crafting this, perhaps I am articulating the thoughts that struck my mind.
So, let’s assume and look at this art work through the lens of simplicity. Because the only color that Artist Asmita used is rock black, yet that looks extremely ravishing and aesthetic. Notice the simplicity of the art.
Renowned artist Picasso quotes that; “Art is the elimination of the unnecessary”. Likewise is life, simple. I know for the fact that great artist believe in simplicity and follow wholeheartedly.
Even Late Steve Jobs from Apple Corporation strongly believes that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and that’s evident in every innovation they create. All Creative folks are problem solvers and they simplify things for others.
This thought of Asmita being simple and creative is evident and also congruent with belief of greatest artists. Asmita also emphasizes on the
words like change and gratitude.
Gratitude is a gift and gratitude changes everything. When we look at our lives through the lens of simplicity, and focus on the many reasons we have to be grateful, life gets better. We feel better.. A focus on gratitude reduces stress, confusion and increases levels of contentment. It truly is life-changing.
I appreciate Artist Asmita for this wonderful art work and I certainly look forward to more of her art works. However, reminding us that “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. It’s all about being simple and grateful about the blessings in life.
The moral is, the next time you see something in white and black color;
remember simplicity and gratitude…!
