Back in my college days, I found myself drawn to two wonderful girls, but my disability held me back from reaching out to them.
Then, like a ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds, someone special entered my life all the way from Mumbai. She understood and accepted me for who I am. After three months of getting to know each other, I gathered the courage to share my struggles and disabilities. However, her reaction wasn’t what I had hoped for, and she chose to leave.
Then I met a girl from my hometown who also had a disability. Instead of letting it be a barrier, we chose to love each other because we knew what it’s like to face challenges. So, we decided to get married.
Our love wasn’t always easy, but we stuck together through thick and thin. We supported each other and showed that love can overcome anything. Our story inspired others to believe in love’s power.
But sometimes, as fate would have it, life took an unexpected turn, and we found ourselves having to part ways.
Then, a girl from Chennai connected with me on Tinder. We had wonderful conversations about career, business, and love. We even traveled together a lot. However, a month ago, she introduced me to her fiancé, which came as a shock.
In all four instances, I’ve encountered rejection and being sidelined, leaving me feeling overlooked and disheartened.
Now, they all have amazing partners and families, and they truly deserve the very best in life.
Now, as I embark on a new chapter in my life, I am reminded that love knows no bounds. Despite the fear of rejection and ignorance lingering in the air, I hold onto the belief that love is indeed beautiful, and life, with all its twists and turns, is a journey worth embracing.
