Sometimes, we wait for something special. We hope for that magic word: YES. But what if it does not come right away? That is how I feel. Let me explain.
I asked someone to come to Vizag with me for work. I thought it would be great to spend time together. But she could not. She had other plans. It made me sad.
Then, we planned to have a sightseeing and weekend together. But again, she could not make it. She said she had other things to do.
Next, we wanted to go to a concert. I was excited. But, once more, she said no. More important stuff, she said.
It’s tough when you keep hoping for a yes, but all you hear are nos. But I haven’t given up hope. Somewhere out there, that one yes is waiting for me. And when it comes, it will make all the waiting worth it.
Each time I hear “no,” it’s like a little piece of me crumbles. It’s hard not to feel disappointed, even a little bit hurt. You start to wonder if maybe you’re not important enough, if maybe your plans don’t matter as much.
But then, in the quiet moments between the disappointments, you remember why you’re waiting. You remember the warmth of that one yes, how it will light up your world and make all the waiting worthwhile.
So, you hold onto hope. You keep waiting, keep believing that someday, somewhere, that one yes will come. And when it does, it will be sweeter than you ever imagined. Until then, you keep waiting, because sometimes, the best things in life are worth waiting for.
Waiting for that one yes is like being stuck in a maze, trying to find your way out. You turn corners, hit dead ends, but you keep moving forward, hoping that around the next bend lies the exit you’ve been searching for.
With each disappointment, it’s easy to feel like giving up. But then you remember why you started this journey in the first place. You remember the promise of that one yes, and it gives you the strength to keep going.
So, you press on. You keep reaching out, keep making plans, keep hoping that this time will be different. And even though the nos keep coming, you refuse to let them drown out the possibility of that one resounding yes.
Because deep down, you know that when it finally comes, it will be more than just a word. It will be a beacon of light in the darkness, a ray of hope that restores your faith in the power of possibility.
So, as you stand on the shore of possibility, waiting for that one yes, remember to cherish the journey. Embrace the highs and lows, the twists and turns, for they are all part of the beautiful tapestry of life. And when that yes finally comes, let it wash over you like a wave of pure happiness, carrying you to shores beyond your wildest dreams.
As the days stretch into weeks, and the weeks into months, the weight of anticipation becomes palpable.
I’m waiting for that one yes
